Druckendult Community Association

HISTORY

One day a crowd of people got talking about starting up a community association and it progressed from there. It was decided to have a public meeting to see how many turned out, it was an interesting evening. It was decided to give it a go back in 2003.

There was firstly a steering group formed gradually achieving the 10 – 12 members needed to create a committee. A meeting was held in Ballymoney Community Resource Centre in November 2003 to appoint posts of Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer.

The Steering Group needed to arrange for a constitution to be set up which took place 19th May 2004.
